In Guns We Trust

The installation, In Guns We Trust, consists of a gold 9mm bullet smashing a pile of books. The piece refers to violence above knowledge as a depiction of America’s obsession with guns and the military, while the bullet’s undeniable phallus shape precisely underlines the nationwide crush on masculinity.

Any further associations are up to the spectator.
